Lavender Lime Dishwashing Kit Details:

To keep your ongoing dish washing mission completely sorted this kit includes:

3 Pods: 1 etee cellulose cloth, 1 loofie scrubber, one pump top dispenser and 3 lavender lime dishwashing pods.

6 Pods: 2 etee cellulose cloths, 2 loofie scrubbers, one pump top dispenser and 6 lavender lime dishwashing pods.

9 Pods: 3 etee cellulose cloths, 3 loofie scrubbers, one pump top dispenser and 9 lavender lime dishwashing pods.

The etee cellulose cloth is 100% natural and made of wood & cotton cellulose.

Our LoofieScrubber (affectionately known as our "loofie") is a combination of the gentle scrubbing power of the fibrous loofah plant and the spongy cellulose-cotton cleaning cloth, which makes for reusable & biodegradable dish cleaning with absolutely no plastic.

Our Dispenser is a 16 oz glass mason jar with a black pump top (with a plastic straw - this pump has the least plastic that we could source and is offered only due to popular demand).

The wax-based pod makes 400ml /13.5oz of our plant-based liquid dish soap concentrate - all of which is completely biodegradable.  Packaged in our one of a kind, backyard compostable Beepods (tm)!

Alcohol ethoxylate (plant-derived grease-cutting agent),Polyglucoside (plant-derived cleaning agent),Amine oxide (plant-derived cleaning agent),Hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived viscosity modifier),Citrus Aurantifolia Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil

  1. Fill a dispenser or jar with 375 ml (12.7 oz) of water.
  2. Rip open your pod of concentrated dish soap over the jar and squeeze the soap into the water.
  3. Stir the mixture, cover with the lid or cap and give the dispenser a good shake. Let it sit for an hour before first use.
  4. Dispose of the pod in the component or garbage (rest assured that it will biodegrade in either). NOTE: some municipal composting programs won't accept natural waxes, so ensure yours does before adding.
  5. Squirt some soap into your sink or onto your scrubby and clean those dishes like a pro.
  6. Rinse any soap from your dishes using hot water and for the best results, dry them with a clean cloth after you are done.

Each soap pod makes 400 ml / 13.5 oz of dish soap.

Yes! It has an average amount of suds and foam - not too little, not too much.

Simply rinse out the pod, break it up and put in either a backyard compost or dirt. 1 pod can also be placed in a countertop composter such as the LOMI, and because it is made of natural waxes, oils and resins, it could really be disposed of anywhere without leaving a harmful trace. It will typically take 3 - 6 months to decompose in a natural compost pile with a good microbe mix.

These plastic-free pods are handmade in our Toronto area shop, so you can trust that not only are our employees fairly treated, they're also free to goof it up from time to time. We kept it local with getting someone in the Toronto area to formulate our dish soap concentrate, too!

How to use our dish soap concentrate

  1. Rip the pod open at one of the ends
  2. Squeeze the pod from the opposite end and aim the soap into the jar
  3. Shake and let rest for 20 minutes
  4. Rinse pod and compost or re-use the wax for other projects such as candles!

Your loofie | Our planet

Ditch that plastic yellow & green scrub & sponge at last! Our plastic-free Loofie Scrubber (affectionately known as 'Loofie') is a combination of the gentle scrubbing power of the fibrous loofah plant and the spongy cellulose-cotton cellulose dishcloth. They're even sewn together using cotton thread (rather than the all too commonly used polyester thread) which makes for reusable & biodegradable dish cleaning with absolutely no plastic.

Ditch the paper towel

For more than just cleaning your dishes, these bad boys dry 10x faster than cotton, so they don't get stinky like other cloths do! They're great for dishes, but also a fantastic paper towel replacement! Our cellulose cloths are made of wood & cotton cellulose which makes them fully compostable, dishwasher & machine-wash safe and last for several months!  Less waste - totally plastic-free.

Glass soap dispenser

A perfect dispenser to house your new dish or hand soap!

Grab a 16 oz glass mason jar with a black pump top (with a plastic straw - this pump has the least plastic that we could source and is offered only due to popular demand).

It's easy to use, slick, classy and looks great on your kitchen counter.

Super easy and smells great

Delighted to receive this package. The dishwashing soap was easy to make and smells great. Works super on dishes. Can't believe I bought all those HUGE dishwashing bottles for all those years. Love the sponge, the dispenser and washcloth.

Very happy with this product!

It smells great, works as it should, and I really like the dispenser jar. Yes, the top is plastic - couldn't be helped - but it's good quality and will hold up for as long as I use it. I'll pass it along to the next generation, in fact.

So ggod!

This dish soap is so much better than I expected! I was skeptical at first, how one pod could mix with the water to be enough to wash dishes. But it does! I love it.

Lavender lime dishwashing kit

I love the smell of the lavender lime! I feel like the soap bars work better for cleaning and has longer lasting aid action for washing dishes, but I use the lavender lime for hands as it smells nice and isn’t too harsh on my hands. Love it!

Love the lavender-lime scent and that the packaging is all plastic free! The wax pods work very well. Haven't tried the loofie yet, but the cellulose cloths are great - I've barely used any paper towels in months.

Great dishwashing kit!

I got the 9-pod kit. I love the lavender scent and the cleaning power of the dishwashing liquid (Has it been reformulated? Seems to perform better than citrus sunshine purchased in spring of 2021). The fact that you need less water for more clean is a plus.
The cellulose cloth is amazing: I've been using and reusing it for months with no sign of deterioration. I keep it clean in the weekly laundry.
The loofie scrubbers do a terrific job at cleaning pans without damaging the non-stick finish.
I wish there was also the option of a kit without the dispenser. The kit is great value, but I had one already and didn't need another, so it would've been "wasted" - which is counterintuitive to the brand of reducing waste. Thankfully I found someone who needed a dispenser.
Thanks for making such amazing products that also help us reduce the volume of plastic in our homes, Etee!

Wonderful dishwashing soap

I live in a six-adult household, and we're all happy with this dishwashing soap, because we're trying our best to reduce the amount of plastic we bring into our home. This soap is thick so takes a few moments to dissolve into the water, but it works well. Love the beeswax tubes that hold the soap, as we can compost those. Thank you!

It doesn’t suds up as much as I’m used to, but it cleans well. I just need to use more or get used to using less suds.
