Reusable Beeswax Food Bags
I’m trying to stop using plastic in every way I can, and these are a great way to wrap food. I’m thinking about getting the snack size bags to carry soap when I travel so I don’t have to use the plastic containers in hotels.
I agree with Kate and Lesley, please modify your selling packages to allow single or a group of the LARGER blue bags from the three packs.
I agree with Lesley. I love the bags so much but find I favor the large blue bag and would love to buy it separately - even if I need to buy three at a time. Figured I could solve the problem of how to store my bread but see that "Big Poppa" is sold out! It's actually bigger than I want but I wonder if its popularity is due to people like Lesley and me, looking for a substitute for the large blue bag? Is there a reason you only sell in this configuration?
Each set includes 3 bags (1 of each size):
Small Teal Bag (10.5" x 9.75") - Great for mushrooms, popcorn & chips, baked goods, tomatoes, citrus fruit
Medium Green Bag (12.5" x 11") - Great for medium sized produce such as cucumbers, grapes, herbs, fruit and potatoes.
Large Blue Bag (14.5" x 12") - Great for leafy greens, cut melons, bread, broccoli and cauliflower
They are reusable. They are biodegradable. They are plastic free.
- Organic cotton muslin with non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes
- USDA approved Certified Organic beeswax
- Coniferous tree resin
- A touch of soy wax
- Organic jojoba oil
- Organic cinnamon and clove essential oils
After use, simply rinse in cool water - hot water will reduce the wax coating - and wash with an eco-friendly soap (avoid ethanol based soaps) with your hands or a cloth, just like you would a dish.
Stand the bag upside down, or hang to dry. Heck, you can be a lil' crazy, towel it dry and reuse immediately.
AVOID - Microwaves and ovens, hot food, uncooked meat and more than a month of freezer use.
