PVA is a petroleum derived, DISSOLVABLE plastic used to wrap 'dish pods'. In our research it was unclear how long it takes PVA to decompose, but according to one study out of NewCastle University (that researched ingested plastic by deep sea creatures) remnants of PVA is showing up in the bellies of sea creatures:

"The fragments identified include... polyvinyls closely resembling polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinylchloride - PVA and PVC."

One of the biggest challenges with finding a good dish soap is whether or not it cuts grease. Dawn has been the only brand, up until now, that I found effective. THIS soap however is fabulous! I sautéed a bunch of veggies in olive oil last night and your dish soap cut right through all the oil with no problem. Best Sponge Ever!

Awesome Scrubbies!

One came with my first order and I ordered 3 more. They work great. I personally like a thinner scrubby and it's less waste and easy to rinse out. These don't get nearly as smelly as the thick eco sponges I'd been buying. Another really great product!

Plastic use is sooo overwhelming so important to start in one area for success. The soap works!!! I was not sure at first because dish soap is so personal for some of us crazies. I might use too much but love how it soaps up, cleans well, smells and works. I also have tried to save pods to use for crafts but still working on that area. Take the leap to do something for the planet, we all are responsible and Etee is making it a no brainer.

This is my new window cleaner!

I am very happy with this product. In hopes of reducing toxicity in my house and the planet, I've made my own window cleaner for many years. I've tried various "recipes" that were ok, but if I needed to do some serious cleaning , I might fall back on a store bought brand. This will no longer be necessary! Thank you Etee!!

Streak free clean without the harsh fumes

I really appreciate this window cleaner. I’ve used it on mirrors, stainless steel and my car windows. I plan on using it for the windows when the weather warms. It’s great to clean house without the strong and unpleasant fumes. And best of all, not adding to the plastic pollution. The BEST kitchen cloth

I have an assortment of dish cloths--handmade, thick cotton, thin cotton, microfibre--and this is far and away the best. I love that it's light and small because I have small hands. It's super absorbent, washes well to become odourless and doesn't stain easily (white cotton dish cloths: what was I thinking???) I'm going to order some more and get rid of the rest.

Showed up on time and did the job!

So I just got this today and as I was going to put all my new Etee merchandise away, my puppy decided to pee on the floor. Having this cloth in hand it seemed like the perfect test. I didn't rinse it or anything as recommended. I just soaked up the pee and then grabbed a paper towel to test if anything was left in the carpet. NOTHING! NOT EVEN A DROP! I got my first regular sized cleaning cloth when I became an Etee member. The Cellulose cleaning cloth is the #1 everyday picker upper in my kitchen. I have almost given up using paper towels. Chewpaste - Love this product!

We purchased this in our ongoing effort to turn our home plastic free. It took a few days to get used to but honestly, plastic or not, we LOVE the way our mouth feels after using these little things! It is not as sweet as toothpaste and the mont is not intense. The incredible feeling of clean makes up for the masking of an overdose of mint. They break down just fine and foam up like crazy. Where have you been all my life?

I love this toothbrush! It gets the job done, without shedding plastic in my mouth or the water. And when the head wears out- I’m hard on toothbrushes-I can just replace the head!! I recently received my order of Etee bamboo toothbrushes and asked him to please try them. These did the trick! They are thinner than the average bamboo toothbrush and feel smoother as well. Lip balm is the bomb!

I really think Etee did this one well. The packaging is superb. I strive everyday in everyway for a plastic-free way of life and this balm helps me accomplish that. The product itself is soothing and feels awesome on the lips. And how come no one thought of a bigger size lip balm in the first place? Such a great improvement but hardly rocket science. A good detangler too

While I’m not wild about the scent, I love this conditioner because it also acts as a detangler for my very long hair. I take a minute or two to really work into my hair and once rinsed, I no longer have to use leave in conditioner to detangle. So one more plastic encased product I no longer have to buy.

I have tried 2 other bar conditioners in the past, which were okay but not good enough to switch to. This one is worthy of the switch. My hair is fine and wavy, and if my conditioner isn’t good my hair ends up fluffed out all over the place like cotton candy. This conditioner left my hair smooth, soft and manageable. These beautiful soap dishes are hand crafted from a unique Canadian Wood (White Birch) which is then roasted in a 90 Degrees C* oven (Also referred to as torrefication). This process makes the wood resistant to decay, bugs, and mould. The torrefication process is also what gives the natural dark brown stain appearance (but without having to use any stain!)

Best hand “lotion” ever!

I live in Napa Valley California and summer and fall are incredibly hot and dry. Our humidity levels often go below 15% and my hands crack and peel horribly. I’ve been searching for a facial cleansing bar for almost a year. I’ve tried Lush, Ethique and Beauty Counter. Beauty Counters was nice but expensive and the others got mushy or had an odd smell. Such a great product

I absolutely love this shave bar. I was not too optimistic because I have very sensitive skin, but even my underarms are smooth and not at all irritated after using the shave bar! My only hesitation is that for the price of the bar. I fear that it’s not going to last me nearly as long as traditional shaving cream, which is much less expensive. I’m definitely going to keep using it though, as long as my budget will allow!

Love the wraps!

I believe these are the best natural wraps on the market, hands down. I tried a few other brands and none are as strong and pliable as this brand. Also, the material sticks to itself really well when trying to wrap a sandwich, or any other items, keeping the food fresh for many, many hours. I’m so relieved at being almost plastic free with my foods.... but it takes work. All one has to do, on any given day, is look in the garbage can of an average 4 person American family and see that the majority of trash is plastic. We must keep at it.... thank you!

I’m on my second set because I use these daily. My first set lasted about 18 months and still could be used, but wanted a nicer looking set for company arriving. I never use plastic wrap anymore. These truly are perfect!

The wraps helped my hubby start to become more eco-conscious. Even though the largest wrap still wasn't large enough to project his sandwich from drying out a little, he liked the idea of reducing our plastic footprint. After I purchased this set of bags as soon as I heard bags were now available (the sandwich bags were sold out already!), he absolutely swears by them! even though they are quite large for a sandwich, he's able to seal it better than the wraps, and he said his sandwich never dries out! These bags make avocados last forever

I had an almost ripe avocado that I put in one of the bags at least two weeks ago. If I put an almost ripe avocado in the refrigerator, not in a bag, it will be inedible two weeks later. They are great, have adjustable ear loops and we have no problem talking in them. Of course, at work, we have to wear other PPE while at work, but for getting groceries, etc it is great. It is comfy and easy to speak while wearing. AND, it is not too hot to wear while down here in Texas

Excellent, comfortable mask

Of the various masks I've tried, I like these the best. Good coverage. Fabric is not too hot in DC summertime. Adjustable straps and nosepiece make the fit very comfortable. Also, I just happen to love the colors!

Could use a little ventilation

I love my shampoo bars! And the soap storage tin keeps it clean and safe in my suitcase when traveling and visiting. I like the smooth feel as the lid screws shut, and I like the way the lid stacks under the tin when it’s open. BUT if I want to close up and pack up before the shampoo bar is dry, that’s a problem.

I’ve been thinking that some kind of rack or screen in the bottom might work… and some kind of screen or simply perforations or small holes in the lid would be nice.

The tin is large enough for two of those round bars, but I’m sure I’ll only ever want to carry one - so a shorter tin would be good.

Great floss!

I was really expecting that it would be much different than my regular floss but it wasn't. It is better. You don't need as much and the fibers really get an the stuff between your teeth. The floss starts to divide a little if you use it for a bit but it does not effect the results. I am a daily flosser and will continue to use this product.

I have tried numerous other brands, some are too chalky, some too bitter. But this one is pleasant to chew (and not too) and seems to work great. They need to ship additional packets in packaging other than glass (i keep the original) as that adds to shipping costs/waste.

So far so good!

The bristles are very soft and it's a comfortable grip when I'm brushing my teeth. Definitely liking it so far and feel like it gets my teeth clean! I had issues with it being too thin for my toothbrush holder, so I recommend wrapping a hair tie or something around it's base so it won't fall through. Can't wait to order my replacement head!

Great dish soap

I’m never going back to bottled dish liquid. I love the Etee soap. It has a pleasant scent and does the job. We keep it in a nice looking plastic and aluminum bottle from Ace Hardware on the counter for easy access.(our cat broke the glass one from etee,)
