Everything Touches Everything Else (Etee)
And because we believe that Everything Touches Everything Else - we hate plastic.
Okay, maybe that’s a bit harsh.
But we really can’t stand single use plastics like plastic wrap, sandwich bags, grocery bags and cutlery. Every time we throw that stuff in the garbage we're hit with a pang of guilt and frustration because we know it's not good for our bodies or our planet.
So we searched for a natural solution and got inspired by... KING TUT! Yup, turns out ancient Egypt's most renowned Pharaoh had a trick or two up his sleeve, er, 'mummy wrap'. You can learn all about it here.

Very nice dish cloth. I hope it will last long. Dries fast, easy to ring water out of in with one hand squeeze.
So bought the unscented dish soap a month or so ago--just needed to wait for my dish soap dispenser to empty. Opened the packaging today--I cut one end and squeezed out the soap. I didn't realize that the entire tube of soap was pliable enough to have just squeezed the packaging. Worked for me anyway. After mixing the soap with the water in a mixing bowl I let it set for about an hour. I stirred it once more and the soap was thoroughly mixed into the water. I poured it into my soap dispenser and all was well when I went to do the dishes. Washed the dishes very well, rinsed very well. My soap dispenser did not hold all the product so saved excess in a glass jar. I only needed a little bit of soap on my cotton wash cloth to do all my dishes--with a little bit of water ever so often. This will last us quite some time. We are very pleased. Oh and cut the packaging up and put into compost.
I love the product, but the packaging does not work. We live at 6,700 feet and by the time the package arrived everyone of the tubes had leaked. Also, if you are elderly, which we are, trying to get the liquid out of the tubes is very difficult. Work on the packaging. As you make covers out of cotton and bees' wax, can't you make a much thinner container for this product?
I think I bought two sets of different sizes and bags several months ago. I love them so much I'm getting two sets to give to friends. What a great gift!
Love the idea, and find it works fairly well. My issue though, is that however much I shake it to mix with the water I still have some that settles at the bottom. Any thoughts?
Love this concept and love the dish soap - I wish more soaps were produced this way! I loathe plastic.. and everythingggg comes in plastic, so I’m thrilled this is an option. I’ll definitely be using this indefinitely.
Slice the beeswax pod lengthwise after squeezing soap into container. Rinse wax thoroughly. Wrap the wax around a wick. Use the warmth of your hands to mold it. Use small square of wax on top and bottom to seal it. Not especially pretty, but great for an emergency candle!
And the soap is great!
I love this soap! It feels light and clean and rinses beautifully! I use it on my hands too. It cleans beautifully! The items I hand wash actually look cleaner to me. My coffee pot had a cloudy look until I started using the etee soap. Maybe because it rinses cleaner? I’m so over the suds thing. This soap doesn’t suds up like traditional soaps but the amount you get is just fine. Being a vegan, I contemplated switching to the bar soap due to the beeswax tube (still wayyyyyy better than plastic) but I love this soap so much, I might make an exception here!
Ever since I started trying out some natural deodorants, my tops have been almost perpetually stained in the pit area no matter what I did - but this bar is incredible!!! I left two of my most stained white tshirts sitting with this product for a few hours and the long term stains are almost entirely gone!! I didn’t think I’d ever see the day this would happen. — Side comment: hey etee team, I would honestly love it if you developed a laundry detergent.... I’ve tried other eco friendly strips and they were a complete disappointment! Please help :)
The scent doesn’t really bother me like other reviewers said, though I wish I had ordered the citrus one (it was sold out at the time).
Anyway, the dish soap works great!! But honestly the most fun part was opening the beeswax casing and watching the soap trickling down into the jar - it felt like something out of an alien sci fi.
I am sold on these for life. I’ve been using them only a few days but they have already gotten me to put away the paper towel holder as well as sponge, etc. They rock!!!
Love the product except for the industrial=type scent. Wish you would add something citrus maybe. It does the job well though.
The products WORKS great. I’m not fond of the way it smells. I added some essential oil and a sprig if Rosemary to the bottle. However, it still had an odor that does not sit well with my nose.
Love The whole idea of this! Why hasn’t someone thought of it before! So simple - add water and you have 12 oz of great dish soap without all the PLASTIC bottle to toss away! So easy to use and so far, it seems to clean and cut grease as well as anything else. You could start a revolution! Hand soap, shampoos, conditioner - think of all those products where water is one of main ingredients. Thank You!
Packaging worked as advertised, the soap mixed perfectly with water and is just as effective as any traditional dish soap. i love that i can store multiple pods in a small space (unlike storing multiple bottles of soap) and compost the wax.
Nice and pleasant soap, love the fact I don’t have plastic waste !!!!!
These cloths do a great job when I am washing my dishes. They are also great for wiping the counters. Even when they are wet they can soak up liquids on the counters. I love how fast they dry so I can feel good about using them a couple times before washing them.
I normally never write these kind of reviews but feel this is worthy-product is really good, packaging is fine and this is helping with my New Years resolution to buy the least amount of plastic wrapped products. Keep up the good products Etee!
It works fine. The beeswax tubes were all intact on arrival, the soap cleans my dishes as well as Dawn ever did, and it smells good. I'll stay with it!
These food wrappers are awesome. They seal tight, keep out air bubbles (on things like avocados or cucumbers), seal over bowls easily and they last. I have worn out only one in a year and half. Remembering to wash them cold water is important. Great product!
I love this soap bar! It’s far less wasteful than liquid dish soap for washing up a few dishes between dishwasher loads and it does a fantastic job on my countertops. It also seems to be easy on my hands. An excellent product.
Never thought I would use bar soap for dishes but this soap smells good, works great, lasts a long time, and is so gentle to my hands!
I loved my first scrubby so much that I gave all but one away and have to order more for myself! The texture is just right for scrubbing the debris from a pot after making oatmeal, or cleaning off the pan after a sauté. It rinses clean, and hasn't fallen apart yet, or lost it's scrubbing power. Terrific. I even like the color.
this dish soap is great! My dishes get very clean! congrats on a great product. Love avoiding the plastic!!
This is by far the best gift ever. Help the environment AND let the recipient choose their favorite way to do that! So thankful etee has gift cards available!! Whether it’s the holidays, birthday, anniversary, thank you, Earth Day, or “just because” - this is a guaranteed winner!!
I used this for one year and at the beginning they fill hard , then until they brake softless after a few uses, like any new product. Very easy to use, great properties to preserve and keep the food odorless
Have been using this for about a week and couldn’t be happier. Haven’t had an issue with greasy clean ups at all. Love that it’s completely waste free! Going to spread the love and buy some for gifts!
Body Care is not complete without some sort of lotion moisturizer. I’ve tried the bars and they’re hard to spread. Could you make a cream and put it in a cardboard tub?
I really like it. I especially loved putting the pod into my compost pail.
There isn't much to say about dish soap. It either works or not. This does. I'm very happy not to put a bottle into our already overwhelmed environment.
I keep this in my purse at all times. Since I live in Florida, there are a lot of restaurants that serve very casually with plastic silverware. I've had many occasions to use my cutlery set and I love it. It stays put in the waxed cloth container and makes me feel morally superior to those who are using plastic forks and spoons around me. :)
Finally a way to eliminate plastic to cover food. I love the wraps. Easy to use, easy to wash, easy to store. I wrapped a bunch of celery, put it in my vegetable drawer in my refrigerator, and used the last stalk 4 weeks later!!! It kept it crisp and fresh. Nothing has kept it that well prior to now. I use it to cover all my bowls of "stuff" that I refrigerate - egg salad, jello, whatever I store in bowls. Have been able to eliminate a LOT of plastic. Love it!
I just had to say goodbye to my first order of food wraps. I bought them more than a year ago and used them well. I am replenishing my supply.
These bags are fantastic! They keep everything fresher than plastic bags. My lettuce and spinach last so much longer in these bags. The bags also smell so good.
I use this soap (which is lying on the coconut scrubber) along with a European dishwashing brush for most of my hand dishwashing. We also use etee's liquid soap for things that need to soak, or where I can make a "dishpan" out of a pot, and wash several things at once.
I wish it were part of the offerings for the Club (which is how I got it, I think.)
It is a perfect way to wash up individual items, instead of splashing a lot of excess liquid soap on them.
I highly recommend using both types of soaps for your dishes!
