This was my first order and despite shipping delays due to COVID19, It arrived within 10 days to the US. Of 4 soap tubes, one was slightly leaking but I am not going to complain. Everything was wrapped securely. I was able to place the leaky tube (which still was full of soap) into the frig for a day. This made the tube hard and I was able to break it in half perfectly to pour into the jar. Even the soap left on the inside of the tube did not go to waste, we used it like a bar of soap and Voila, no waste. And the lemongrass smell was so nice it filled my kitchen with such a fresh smell.
I started using these a few months ago, and don't plan to stop. I love the no plastic and I love the product. Smells and works great!!
Love this idea of decreasing plastic. I was weary to try the soap but it is great! No plan to stop using this!
Got the 5 pack w/2 loofahs. So far my favorite is the Blazin Spice, smells fantastic, like cloves or mace.
Will definitely buy again
Hi, I’ve tried a couple of other options, but this one works best for me. I ordered a lovely glass dispenser bottle and some wood and scrubbing tools. That in combo with my Tru Earth clothes washing detergent and Who Gives a Crap toilet paper and tissues plus our Soda Stream makes me feel like I’m doing a bit of my part.
These cloths are the greatest. We have 6 or so and use them all the time. They are very useful as replacements for paper towels. Throw them right in the washer (but not the dryer — they dry well but curl up a lot.) I’m going to order more.
May I suggest a possible addition to ur line? Restaurant vi what bottles work well for dish soap with a little shake and have no plastic...
I m very happy with it. Love that we don't need to use plastic. I don't mind paying the higher price, but wonder if others will pay it. We need everyone to buy into these 'new' ways of helping the environment. i hope people buy it!
Love that this is plastic-free. The soap works great. Doesn't foam well with my scrubber, but I'm going to switch to a natural sponge to see if that helps.
Love the delivery mechanism and intent to minimize plastic use. I was skeptical and anticipated poor performance from the dish soap because people can say anything when marketing.
Fortunately this stuff is GREAT!
How many plastic bottles could we save from impacting the earth if all manufacturers of dish soap adopted an ethical distribution approach. I am sold and will use this product exclusively. Thanks Etee 😁✌️
I bought this dish soap about a week ago and haven't had much luck with plastic free dish soap so far. But I love this soap. It's so easy to put in a container add water and voila great dish soap. The directions say to wait an hour after mixing to use. But I suggest leaving overnight so the soap can totally dissolve. It doesn't leave a residue, is a neutral smell, and lathers very nicely. I threw my dish soap wrapper right in the compost bucket which feels amazing as well. I highly recommended this product.
I love the packaging (although I forgot it was compostable and threw it away instead of sticking it in my plant pots; next one!) and find it cleans really well. Definitely will be a return customer!
No plastic bottle, no waste...just a calming lemon scent and a candle too when you’re done transferring the soap to a jar. Cleans like a whistle!
I had been using a solid dish soap bar for a while, but it left bad spots on my glasses and plates. So far I'm really happy with the etee liquid soap, although the lack of suds does mess with my mind a little bit ;)
Just read another review that says don't add water to the soap; I'm not really sure why, because that's what I did and it's fine bill try it the other way around and see if it works better that way 🤷🏼♀️.
Thanks for offering a great solution to the ever increasing waste problem! (I cut up my tube and put it I to a big plant pot to see if it'll actually decompose in 3 months like you say it will. Fun little science project for the kids!)
I received my shipment about a week ago, it is in every way just as described! Works great and the best part is that if your, like me, in an attempt to be part of the solution not part of the problem where waste is concerned, this is perfect!
Excellent product! Cleans perfectly and easy to use! Enough suds for me. Go for it and help the planet
I like the size of this sponge. Easy to hold. Great for exfoliating rough areas like elbows, knees & heels. Not so comfy for regular bathing of softer skin. I would love it if etee also added a natural soft wool sponge to its line for everyday bathing!
Your dish soap does as good a job as my usual dish soap and without the plastic bottle! Yeh!
When I first ordered the dish soap from Etee, I thought, well I'm getting the soap I might as well try the cleaning cloth. I'm so glad I got them both. When I opened the package the loofie seemed hard and stiff and I was sure I wouldn't like it, but I was so happy, as soon as the water saturated the cotton it was suddenly soft and absorbed the soap and suds up perfectly. I will be throwing out all of my old sponges and these will be permanently by my kitchen sink and will also replace my bathroom cleaning cloth.
Thanks for the wonderful products Etee. ❤
This is a good product. I'd been looking for a way to eliminate plastic, and the dish soap bars didn't seem to clean our dishes as well. This product absolutely works like "normal" dish soap, which is nice. My only complaint (which is possibly just us being wasteful) is that the soap is meant to be added to a 12 oz container, which just isn't very big at all. We burned through our first pod in one week (we don't have a dishwasher), which makes me wonder what the viability of this product is for our particular household. Really loved the tube and the whole concept, though!
I love the concept and the product. Only issue I have is with “ripping open” the tube. These old hands can’ t really manage that! I have to use a scissors to slice it open, and I seem to lose about 5% or so to spillage. Messy. Maybe I’ll get more deft as I continue to use!
I just finished my first 3 pack- lesson learned: the first and last worked great, the middle tube I didn’t mix right and the consistency was not correct and I went through it in a flash. When mixing, DON’T accidentally add the water to the soap but the soap to the water. It clearly says this on the package, but with so many things going on, I did it backwards and basically lost a whole tube. Otherwise, I am happy with performance when compared to the Meyer’s product I have been using for years, they are comparable. The Etee is slightly more money, but when pioneering solutions to the environmental catastrophe of CONVENIENCE, the upfront cost will initially be there but fade with more adoption. Blessed to be able to pay a little bit more; worth every plastic bottle we prevent from being discarded.!!! Thanks Etee!
I just purchased the dish soap and am very pleased! It does a good job. I am so happy that something that can help keep plastic out of our environment is available. Thank you Etee!
This soap works great and I love the packaging. Have been looking for an alternative to my dish washing block and was so happy to have come across Etee. The packaging is great and I would love to see more products available in this packaging in the future!
I was happy to learn that the white stickers holding the labels on to the pods are actually NOT plastic. They are compostable. Waty to go, etee.
I was so happy to see a Canadian company with a product that speaks to the direction we are all moving towards (plastic free). I expected to pay more for the experience and was pleasantly surprised by the products effectiveness. Bravo!
All the best as you grow and improve your soap pods.
Small note : perhaps you could reconsider the small round plastic sticker that holds the paper label onto the wax pod? A glue that breaks down cleanly maybe?
I’ve been using these for a few weeks and the first one still works and looks as good as it did on day one! Works great on tough stuck on food. I love that they are thinner than normal sponges. They are so much easier to use and can get into all the nooks and crannies.
Is it possible to get this in a different scent ? i am allergic to mint..do you know how hard it is to get toothpaste and many other products in anything other than mint? Citrus or berry might be nice.
Excellent product! Thank you!! I am sharing with all of my friends and encouraging them to purchase!!!
Excellent dish soap. I added a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil to the unscented soap. Cut grease well. NO PLASTIC. YAY!
Very nice dish cloth. I hope it will last long. Dries fast, easy to ring water out of in with one hand squeeze.
So bought the unscented dish soap a month or so ago--just needed to wait for my dish soap dispenser to empty. Opened the packaging today--I cut one end and squeezed out the soap. I didn't realize that the entire tube of soap was pliable enough to have just squeezed the packaging. Worked for me anyway. After mixing the soap with the water in a mixing bowl I let it set for about an hour. I stirred it once more and the soap was thoroughly mixed into the water. I poured it into my soap dispenser and all was well when I went to do the dishes. Washed the dishes very well, rinsed very well. My soap dispenser did not hold all the product so saved excess in a glass jar. I only needed a little bit of soap on my cotton wash cloth to do all my dishes--with a little bit of water ever so often. This will last us quite some time. We are very pleased. Oh and cut the packaging up and put into compost.
I love the product, but the packaging does not work. We live at 6,700 feet and by the time the package arrived everyone of the tubes had leaked. Also, if you are elderly, which we are, trying to get the liquid out of the tubes is very difficult. Work on the packaging. As you make covers out of cotton and bees' wax, can't you make a much thinner container for this product?
I think I bought two sets of different sizes and bags several months ago. I love them so much I'm getting two sets to give to friends. What a great gift!
Love the idea, and find it works fairly well. My issue though, is that however much I shake it to mix with the water I still have some that settles at the bottom. Any thoughts?
