So, I have found that the soap works well. I have to mix it back into the solution on occasion but that's not an issue, and I will next try the idea of mixing it with hot water to see how that changes things. Also, I think maybe ripping open the pod may be causing some peoples problem with the mess they describe. I use a pair of larger scissors to cut one end of the pod open, just at the point where the tube/pod begins to enlarge past the end. Then I just start from the other end and slowly squeeze the soap out the now open end. Works great. And it does seem to help if the pods are at room temp when the the soap is squeezed from the pod.
I love these masks. The new design means they fit anyone!
My petite 7 year old had lost all of her masks and I was desperate so I tried one of these. Because it has a nose piece and adjustable ear pieces it worked just fine.
These little scrubbies are amazing! They're versatile in both shape and function. I also own the coco brush which works for hard to reach bottles and food that might be stubborn to get off. The two together are a perfect combo. The scrubbie works for quite a while before it starts to break down...then off to the compost it goes.
It took awhile to arrive but I like the product a lot and I’ll give it another try and place an order. Perhaps it was just a crazy time due to the virus that messed up shipping.
Not a review, but a public query:
I use coco floss right now, and I love it. However, it comes in plastic and the gloss itself is not biodegradable.
How does this stack up with “sticker” flosses like that? I have very tight teeth and a fear of dentists, so excellent floss is a must for me.
I bought these bags almost a year ago and they are still lasting. I don't remember the last time i brought plastic bags home from the grocery store. these bags are very easy to maintain.
Why did I wait to try this? Perfect consistency, great price, and the scent is pure aromatherapy with each wash. Been washing my hands A LOT of course and this stuff is the BEST. Forget the stuff from the store.
I wasn't sure I was going to like the loofie scrubber and was really unsure of the cellulose cloth but once I gave them a try I am ready to ditch all my plastic sponges. The loofie scrubber works for most stuck on foods, except trying to clean the super burned on red sauce after baking a lasagna. I had to use a metal scrubber for that, but I'll take it. I was most surprised how awesome the cellulose cloth is, definitely going to get more of those. Haven't tried the dishsoap yet, waiting to use up the rest of my soap to try that.
My coworker shared his love of Etee products with me back in December of 2019 by gifting me one of these little gems and I have to say it is the best sponge I have ever used. I love the thin, flexible fabric and it doesn't get smelly like other products I have used. Thank you for loving the earth and providing consumers with well made products that last longer than "box store" options. :-)
I think these are very good masks. My husband and I brought four and have used them over then last couple month they work great and are comfortable. I was surprised to see some comments about them shrinking and/or that they came out all crumbled from the wash. Mine did not shrink at all because we washed them in cool water and then we air dried two which worked great but I also put two in the dryer and once the dryer was done I took them out, shaped them around my hand and they went almost back to their original shape (you lose the pleat, oh well), no shrinkage (you can't wash cotton in hot water or it shrinks, you can't put small-type items in the dryer for an extended time on hot and not expected it to shrink or become all crinkled up).
These masks work very well.
We love our etee masks! We bought one for each member of the family when masks were first recommended in the U.S. Since then, we've purchased from a couple of different sites. The etee masks are our go-to, and we wear the others when these are in the wash. I'm buying more today! Plus, I love the fact that every purchase allows etee to donate masks.
My husband had said that it breaks too easily, twice in the same use. But I find that it breaks less easily than other string floss. No matter what floss I use I have a tooth that usually breaks the floss... so I just floss that area last. Works for me! I’m happy with this product. Happy to reduce plastic.
Better than SOS pads for cleaning pans and has especially been handy on the cast iron! I bet it would also be good for removing soap scum in the tub, will definitely try it!
I’ve been using the Oral B glide (plastic 😕) floss for years because my teeth have tiny spaces and the typical string floss always got stuck and broke when I flossed. This is much higher quality and I can easily get used to it and feel good about reducing plastic waste. My husband unfortunately got too spoiled on the glide floss and isn’t willing to switch. But if I do we’re still cutting the related plastic waste in half. Love the glass jar! I am getting hooked on your products so it will be easy to add a few more to my next order! Thank you for giving us green alternative products!
I’ve been using the lemon dish soap and tried the lemongrass hand soap for the first time today. I love it! It smells great, good consistency, and doesn’t dry my hands. Hope some day this soap will become popular enough that the price can come down. The dish soap is good too but I absolutely love the hand soap! Better than any other plastic free, environmentally friendly soap I’ve tried so far.
I absolutley love your little loofah cloths! No more scrubbies, sponges and cotton cloths hanging around the kitchen sink. The cloth side just seems to pick up everything on the counter and rinses clean in an instant. The loofa is strong enough to scour out the cast iron frying pan. I made the mistake of putting my first one in the washer/drying. Washer was probably ok but drying is a no no. So now I just soak it overnight in a food grade hydrogen peroxide to clean it. Anyway, love this little kitchen helper and it will be on my Christmas present list for all my favourite adult people!
I'm very happy with these masks. They fit well and are easy to clean. I've been laying mine flat to dry after washing (I quickly) smooth it out first by hand, and haven't had any issues with wrinkling or bad smells. They fit a little looser than some others, but I still feel comfortable wearing them.
just got my order, and I haven't actually used it yet, I'm sure the dish soap works great. I'm really interested in the pods they come in though. My husband and I are wondering if we can turn them into candles? Is it pure beeswax?
These are great except a little big for my face. i’ll Have to shorten the elastic. I’d order more if they came a little smaller. . .
I’ve tried three other types of masks, and these are by far my favourite. They took over a month to arrive (in BC) and all four were blue (whereas I’d expected multiple colours), but still they are worth 5 stars because they fit perfectly and are comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. Thank you!
Still hasn’t arrived. Wanting to like this... but a month? Come on.
Just received my masks today. I bought four. The size is perfect for me but considerably too small for my husband. Otherwise, the masks are better than expected and I am quite happy with them. I do think that a small, medium or large option would be a good addition to the product. Nevertheless glad to have!
This floss has a bit of a learning curve in that unlike the super smooth plastic tape floss that I used, it's 1. not as smooth, 2. thickness not as even, and 3. breaks if pulled too hard.
In the first week or two, I was unsure whether I'd be able to stick with it. On a few nights that I was in a hurry or stressed, I went back to my plastic floss, because I didn't want to have to adapt to this less comfortable floss when I was already in a tense mood. But I was willing to stick with it because it's 0 plastic vs. 100% plastic.
As the weeks went on, I got more used to it. I've been using it for 2 months now, and I have not gone back to my plastic floss for many weeks. I'm completely okay with the drawbacks above - it just takes adapting to, not the end of the world, whereas plastic could contribute to the end of the world in a way. I've stashed my remaining plastic floss to my travel bag, mainly because this floss comes in a glass and I'm a bit worried about breaking it during travels.
I got an email from you saying my soap has been delivered--it has not. Do you have a way of tracking the package because I have never received it.
I guess I will never know if its any good. I placed an order on April 24 and while I understand shipping is slow for many companies right now, it has been 19 days and it still hasn't shipped. So disappointed with this service. I've had to go and buy dish soap in a plastic bottle to tide me over since your service is so slow.
I was really excited to try this floss and it did not disappoint! I didn't find that it broke and it is sturdy. I'm happy to say I will now permanently switch to this floss. Thanks etee!
Do these masks have something sewn inside to enable you to adjust it to your nose bridge?
I had a hard time replacing sponges. These do a great job scrubbing, and I think they're even better at not retaining certain types of food and liquid. They don't fall apart like I expected, either. I'm back for more.
Love the face masks and have been using a piece of flannel as a filter - so all is washable and reusable. See study below:
It makes me so happy to buy anything that doesn't come in a plastic bottle. I love the packaging! The soap works just as well as the Meyers I was buying, which I loved. I mixed it in the bottle per instructions and then after an hour I squeezed it into my pump at the kitchen sink. Very happy with this product.
