Whether it’s the ingredients on the inside or the packaging on the outside - even our packing tape is commercially compostable. The majority of our packaging - dish soap, cleansers, shampoos, body soaps and conditioners - are backyard compostable, while our lip balm and laundry detergent packaging is commercially compostable. There are instances where we use non-toxic, biodegradable, but synthetic ingredients because the performance is just so much better than the natural alternatives.

These beautiful soap dishes are hand crafted from a unique Canadian Wood (White Birch) which is then roasted in a 90 Degrees C* oven (Also referred to as torrefication). This process makes the wood resistant to decay, bugs, and mould. The torrefication process is also what gives the natural dark brown stain appearance (but without having to use any stain!)
They’re finished off and sealed with a food grade mineral oil (cutting board oil) which is heated and blended with beeswax.

After much debate, we decided on a disposable filter in light of our unique health situation. The five-layer filter system is not meant to be reused or washed.
