What Do You Use to Wash Your Face?

92% of women use facial cleansers on a daily basis, and the overwhelming majority come packaged in plastic.

Yikes!

We'd love to change that, but we need your help!

So tell us, what's your daily cleansing routine? And what would it take for you to try something new?

Let us know - comment below - together we can turn this plastic tide around!

  • My favorite cleanser is the Meyer Lemon Creamy Cleanser from Andalou. It’s super gentle, but removes makeup and doesn’t leave any residue (nor does it leave my skin feeling stripped). I really hate the plastic packaging though, so I recently switched to the cleanser from the Refill Shop. Bar cleansers just don’t cut it for me, so if you guys could come up with something like Andalou but packaged like your dish soap, I’d totally switch!

  • I use DHC ‘clear soap’, foams up beautifully, feels good and cleans my skin well.

  • I’m finishing what I hope will be the end of my Mary Kay facial cleanser and moisturizer. I liked the product but not the plastic tubes. I don’t have skin problems anymore so a nice facial scrub and a good moisturizer. I saw an ad for these products in refillable aluminum containers from a company I haven’t tried at all. I think my face could be cleaned with a bar but I’m not sure how you contain the moisturizer. I really don’t want to purchase another plastic tube or bottle.

  • I just finished the last of my Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, which I was very happy with but it comes in a plastic bottle. Now I have Meow Meow Tweet’s Tea Tree and Charcoal Face Bar. What I’m looking for in a face soap is efficacy. I need it to be non-comodogenic, good for sensitive skin (I have eczema), and good for “mature” skin. No wrinkles on me yet but goodness knows I’m not trying to contribute to getting them!

  • I use indigo wild bar soap.

  • I use Hawaiian Healing products. They are packaged in glass and bamboo. My skin is very finicky…lots of allergies and sensitivities both natural and chemical. So far this is the only product line my skin agrees with but I always keep an open mind!
