Christmas Music '25

Publié par Steve Reble le

Here's a track Jackie and I (Steve) recorded for my wife Mandy a few Christmases back.  While it's not a straight up Christmas song, it gives me all the right feels.  The original is a folk / country song by >Townes Van Zandt called "If I Needed You".

I'm not one for Country Music, but I loved the song, so Jackie and I did it in our own style with a help from my friend Neil.  Neil recorded it and played the guitars, bass and synth / piano.  Jackie and I sang and I played drums.  Hope you enjoy it!

  • It’s funny how many musicians are also trying to do the right thing environmentally, so we’ve found our way to you guys! I’m 70, rarely and fewer than three bands at a time for the last 50 years. That’s a beautiful arrangement of.Townes’ song. Kudos to Neil for a very lush instrumentation . There’s a beautiful blend of calm and tension, with the interplay of the vocals, instrumentation, and your rhythm on the drums. The kind of internal dichotomy he would’ve loved. Thank you for sharing.

  • This is lovely. So glad to be ordering products from people who are also into music. I love your electric toothbrush, feels so friendly to the touch. I’m also into music. Here was one of our performances at an Earth Day event where I sang a cover of the Ladies in Waiting song "Thank You’ which goes with the season. I am accompanied by Melanie Peterson, Raphael Keelan and Frances Locs.
