Shampoo and mouthwash not in plastic bottles, products like vinegar and other cleaning products not in plastic bottles, perhaps concentrated or dehydrated. Compostable garbage can liners. And getting markets to stop wrapping everything in plastic.
Reusable coffee filters
How about a craft kit for people who would like to make their own reusable covers and bags.
We retired ladies, like to get together to do these kinds of things and often have left over fabric.
Kit could contain the bees wax, jojba oil, and a couple of cloths along with instructions. This would not be competition but a separate market niche which could help advertise the products you are selling which are ready for use.
Good quality facial skincare products like moisturizer and wash!! Also makeup (mascara, foundation etc) and sunscreen. I love my Arbonne products but the waste… 😳
Would love to see some washable bags in various sizes that produce could be put in at the grocery store rather than wasting all those single use plastic bags. Preferably something see through, like a nylon or silk netting
We still need to use rinse agent in the dishwasher. Could you incorporate into the Dropps or separate rinse agent pods?
I would love to see real toothpaste in some sort of recyclable container. Maybe a metal canister like shave cream. I dint really want to buy tooth powder or the other fluoride free treatments out there, which seem to be the only recyclable options. Maybe even just a hard bar of toothpaste you wet and rub your toothbrush along to get a decent foam like a bar of soap. Also, is there any way to make a bamboo replacement head for my electric toothbrush?
Shampoo and conditioner in bars would be great too.
How about containers made out of mushrooms that are developed to resemble plastic…?
Hi. There is one thing I have made that I find very useful. I like sewing, I have to do laundry. When some items are included in the tub they get tangled up, so I made cotton bags with a draw-string opening to use for some items like stockings, socks, bras and belts made of fabric. Also I made bags for Christmas gifts years ago, and the recipients still use them for shoe bags, shopping and carrying small items. The bags are made of cotton and the draw-string is simply string and I use a slip-knot to fasten it. It is easy to tie and easy to pull apart to open it. The bags are about 12 – 15 inches long by about 7 inches deep. The top is folded over about 1 inch and has a button hole to thread the string through. The bags can, of course be made in any size. The idea is mine alone and it started when I wanted to make bags for gifts instead of wrapping gifts in paper that would be discarded. I hav e also made shopping bags of stronger material, with handles for carrying. These bags are good for the environment, light and useful.
