Absolutely! Especially if they were easy to install and could move with me when I find my forever home. Would also be a plus if the panel could be “stand-alone” so it could be easily positioned for maximum sun exposure and not have to be attached to a balcony railing.
Absolutely I would do this. Especially if it is distributed by companies not on the government payroll who absolutely will turn this into a monopoly sit.
I live in a house in the countryside and would use these to easily add lights to my shed. The battery storage is what the current cheap solar lights useless.
Great idea! Having grown up in Switzerland and going back for visits, I’m always amazed how much more organized and inventive European countries are, when it comes to eco friendly solutions. Be it creating alternative power sources, recycling, incinerating garbage that also produces power. Just to name a few.
I would definitely be interested in a balcony solar arrangement.
I certainly would consider using a balcony solar panel to save on energy.
Maybe…where, how and of what, are the panels manufactured? How long will they last? When they reach the end of their lifespan where and how will they be disposed?
Fantastic idea!! Brilliant!
More economical than a roof of panels and it feels do-able. I would be very interested.
We already have roof solar but if we didn’t I would certainly be interested in a balcony solar arrangement. We also have ground source heating and cooling (highly recommended) currently we are looking into how to make our electric company a public utility instead of a stock holders company (Fortis) yes(Canadan) one of many owned by them.
I love this idea, and I love your can-do attitude. I’m in Nova Scotia and would imagine it being a bit much to ship from Ontario, but do start the trend!! Maybe we can get a local vendor to jump in and partner with you!
