Did you know that *some* shampoo bars are actually soap?

This can be a problem because soap has a PH between 8 and 11, while human hair has a PH of 4.5 - 5.5.

What does that mean for your hair? Well, the mismatched PH of 'Soapy' shampoo bars will leave your hair feeling gummy, coated and 'heavy'.

Traditional - liquid - shampoo has a PH that matches your hair, meaning it will leave your hair feeling light and clean.

So when we set out to develop our shampoo bar, we wanted a traditional shampoo performance, but WITHOUT the plastic bottle.

Our Shampoo bars are actually concentrated SHAMPOO, not soap. So not only do they work just like shampoo, but they also last a LONG time and they are completely plastic-free.

I had previously used the etee bar shampoo and conditioner as part of a bundle, and running out I had used a different one from the drug store. My hair had been feeling greasy lately, laying flat instead of the usual fluff, when I saw Steve explaining how the saponification can do that. I added this duo back to my routine and my hair has been so much better since!
Plus, it’s even cheaper than the other big brands in the store! Absolutely worth it!

Surprisingly sudsy

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shampoo bar actually suds up! I do shampoo twice to help loosing the build up as my scalp tends to be oily.
