What Do You Use to Wash Your Face?

Posted by Steve Reble on

92% of women use facial cleansers on a daily basis, and the overwhelming majority come packaged in plastic.

Yikes!

We'd love to change that, but we need your help!

So tell us, what's your daily cleansing routine? And what would it take for you to try something new?

Let us know - comment below - together we can turn this plastic tide around!

  • Depending on what my combo skin needs, I use 3 different products, as needed. Two companies I use have 5 or less ingredients! All products come in glass for easy recycling/repurposing. Learned how to make my own products now, as well, to care for the problems that have flared up due to health issues. All 100% organic. All 100% recyclable!

  • I use a Mary Kay Natural Line cleanser (packaged in plastic) because it’s gentle on my sensitive skin while still cleansing fully. I would love to find something that does the same, has a short list of simple and natural ingredients, and is not packaged in plastic!

  • At the moment I use a mild bar soap and face cloth. What keeps me from buying your products is having to pay in US dollars. The ding of the exchange rate is significant. Do you wholesale to anyone?

  • I have used many things over the years and have recently started looking for skincare products that are:
    -good for sensitive skin
-don’t contain the nasty chemicals we’re all trying to avoid
    -packaged sustainably
    -preferably made locally.

I currently use a gentle lotion cleanser, Firming serum, and and a lotion moisturizer for sensitive skin.

I’m game to try something. Bring it on.

  • I use a daily cleanser and a few time a week a facial scrub. Then I put on eye cream and a light moisterizer for dry/oily sentisitive skin combination. It comes in plastic and is sold in very small amounts so that the plastic use is excessive. I would love a natural refillable alternative.

  • I use a cruelty-free, all natural, safe cleanser almost daily on my face. It does come in a non-refillable plastic pump bottle. I would be glad to try something new, but I would need to try a free or low-cost sample first.

  • I use a cleanser and moisturizer for sensitive skin (mild rosacea). Both come in nonrefillable plastic pump bottles. I’d love to change, but would need a sensitive skin formula.

  • I use a microfiber cloth and warm water. It works on waterproof mascara as well as what’s on my skin. After sweaty yard work, etc., I do lightly scrub with a complexion brush and mild soap, followed by the microfiber cloth.

  • I use Micellar Water but yes it does come in plastic
