Should we sell Balcony Solar Panels???

Posted by IT Admin on

So like I said, assuming the regulations get up to date, do you think we should - follow zee Chermans.. (read in dorky german accent) - and partner with a balcony solar panel supplier to start bringing accessible renewable energy to our etee customers?

It seems in-line with our mission of empowering simple daily actions to better support our planet.

And, if properly executed it would help people SAVE money on the every increasing cost of electricity.

A little while ago I was approached by a sustainable battery company to partner up, but they weren't rechargeable and I thought that doesn't really sound sustainable.  Then I thought about trying to make solar powered appliances like our e-bamboo toothbrush, but when I came across this concept it just made so much more sense, but of course, I'd love your thoughts, so...

  • Doubt I’d be able to install at my apartment unless it can charge a power-bank which then charges households portable devices. If the shipping package is something that could store easy and be reused to protect your investment when you move… this is something I would for sure save up for

  • This looks like a great project! I’d definitely support it, despite not living in an apartment building. There are so many buildings being built in the Vancouver area… and I’ve often thought it’d be nice to see more solar panels (even if it rains a lot in the winter). Wouldn’t it be great if you could get developers/contractors to install stuff like this during the initial construction?!

  • Definitely interested to see what the cost would be and how simple it would be for installation and use. It would be awesome to have something like this be accessible.

  • I lived in Germany 4 years and was very impressed by the preponderance of solar panels, especially in southern Germany where I worked. I think it is a great idea. I myself, unfortunately, do not have a balcony. But I think we should make them as commonly available as possible, especially for other residents who want to save their wallets and the planet.

  • great idea!!! how can we let our Congress people know to encourage them to change laws to allow this???

  • I’d love for that to be possible. Like Margie B, I’d have to ascertain what my condo board’s policy is for this brilliant idea.
