To rescue our wonderful blue globe in this solar system I had ( and have ) to pay premium. As long as I can go on with, and afford, my world consciousness I’ll get my goods ( amazing household and beauty goods ) from etee! You rock ! ! !
As for TARIFfS all, fracking and global climate crises naysayers, plastic gobblers and all of them, I’ll continue to work against them all by trying to model an environmental friendly lifestyle – hoping one day enlightenment will reach them – there is only one blue, habitable bouncy ball in the vicinity and some extra care is seriously needed! So Etee, not to worry, let’s hope this current political/economic confusion will abate and maybe some day more sensible people will rise to the political arena again. Otherwise let’s do our bit!

I’m just a little bumpkin here in Pennsylvania, USA, and I have no advice or solutions that can be spoken out loud or written down without my being arrested. The less radical solutions I’ve sent to my elected officials have been ignored. It’s all so depressing and discouraging. Disheartening. So I retreat back to myself, in my own little tiny world. I do the best I can to recycle what I can. Each plastic bottle I toss into the bag is like a prayer or an incantation for a better world. When I have a couple bags full, I drive them the 30 miles to the recycle place. At least it’s still open. The same with the steel food cans and aluminum cans, except that place is 10 miles in the opposite direction. I buy your products from you in Canada because I want Canadians to know all of us Americans are not hate-filled, bigoted, racist, envious, slothful, gluttonous, evil scum bags like the “president.” He’s the embodiment of the seven deadly sins, if you are of a religious bent. I’m not a religious person, but I do send thoughts out to the universe quite often. Anyhow, as long as I can afford your products, I’ll keep using them. I will try to use more of them as I use up products I already have. I have to “think small” because when I read the news and see what’s going on “out there,” it’s overwhelming and I can hardly stand it. So I retreat into my little world. I try not to harm the environment. Like with recycling the plastic bottles (so much plastic!), I try to look at the use of and the buying of your products as making a wish, sending out a plea, an invocation to make the world a better place. If you have to raise prices because of the tariffs, then I guess you have to. Regardless, I gotta wash the dishes and do the laundry. I’ll do my best to keep shopping with you.
I didn’t realize your products were manufactured in China. I may stop buying from you. There are companies with similar products that are made in the US

Please! No hand wringing! I know it’s not my company. But just wait 100 days. And listen to the Ezra Klein NYT podcast “Don’t Believe Him”. And listen to what was said on that podcast – Steve Bannon (who is feuding with Elon Musk right now) said they were going to commence with a barrage of stuff that would take everyone off guard. And that’s exactly what they are doing. Never ever try to make sense of what Donald Trump says. And don’t believe anything he says. He could make it worse in the next 5 minutes; or, he could pretend like he never said it at all. And lastly, go back to the late 1940’s and early 1950’s – the McCarthy era. You think this is bad? Go and get the wonderful film “Good Night and Good Luck” about Edward R. Murrow and how he (and others finally) took on McCarthy. And everyone around him was terrified. And actually, truth to be known, President Eisenhower, finally had enough of McCarthy as well and McCarthy was finished. But he did a lot of serious damage along the way. The same thing will happen to Donald Trump. And likely in a different way to Elon Musk as well. Keep the faith and keep etee moving along as you have through thick and thin.
I would look into setting up an equivalent factory or production facility here in the US. You might not be able to make all the same things, but you would be able to sell some products tariff-free. Maybe. If that’s how it works… thanks for the opportunity to comment and good luck!
It’s not even been a month, and every day there’s a new assault on our democracy! A lot of us knew it was going to be bad, but every day, every hour, it seems there’s a new pile of crap to clean up. Unfortunately not even your great cleaning products can clean up this mess! I don’t know how we’re going to survive 4 years.
