Great idea. I already have a roof full of solar, so not for me but I support the project.
This is exactly the kind of self-sufficient, energy saving step I would seriously be interested in, though there are several things I would have to consider: approval by condo board, cost of product and shipping, warranty, expected lifespan, aesthetic of the panel, size (how much room it would occupy on my lanai), how much power can be generated and stored, and probably more that’s not coming to mind at the moment(!). But I love how Steve and the team think creatively, economically, and with consideration of your customers’ wishes and needs. Keep up the great work!
I loveeee this idea! I wish every business was like yours. Since I don’t live in a condo/apt, balcony use isn’t for me, however I would def buy one to power my greenhouse.
Definitely interested depending on cost and building codes where I live. Of course would want to be able to get compatible battery storage from you as well
Yes I would be interested if it is in our budget at the time it’s available. But would save up Knowing that in the long run it would help lower other costs and improve sustainability.
Plug-in solar panels are a fantastic idea. I would buy them from etee for one simple reason: I trust you guys. I really feel that you actually care about the environment and the humans who depend on it, instead of just trying to push products on potential consumers (said products being excellent, btw!). If you get into the solar panel game, I will trust that you have done your homework and will offer a great product for the right reasons.
Love this idea. As a south-facing condo owner I would be interested. Could see condo boards getting fussy about it – in my condo balconies are considered part of the common elements and not technically owned by the condo owner. Although practically speaking they can only be used privately. Thx!
Great idea! I’d have to make sure the condo board was OK with it; I expect they would be.
This is brilliant. I live by myself and own a small home. My energy usage is pretty low, so installing solar panels isn’t economical for me. A balcony solar panel would help offset my usage and even apartment dwellers could participate. I would definitely be interested in this.
That is a wonderful idea! We are not tied to the grid and already rely on sun power for our electricity. But for those wanting to give it a try the patio panel is a creative idea.
