  • Hello from Ontario Canada! I just found your products today through a maiden Canada website. I absolutely love your stuff! I wish I didn’t already have an electric toothbrush or I would have bought yours real fast for myself. I have no advice here other than do whatever you need to do to protect your business. Your loyal customers will stick around if they can or come back when it’s a possibility again. Like I read someone else said, look up, promoting your business more within Canada! With trade barriers between provinces coming down one province at a time, this is a great opportunity to start marketing Moore within Canada and across province Boundaries. Already Ontario and Nova Scotia have worked out an agreement to remove barriers roughly 6 weeks ago. I’m rooting for our Canadian businesses to flourish!

  • Dear Steve and ETEE family,
Please know how much I disapprove of the policies in general and the Canada/Mexico tariffs in particular imposed by the present government of the US. I hope beautiful Canada and Canadians survive well. I stand with you.
I thank you for doing business with US costumers and wish that we can continue to purchase your wonderful products during this ordeal.

  • Just started using your laundry and dish soap.
    They both work really well.
As an American I welcome you to move your operations down here to the US.
I have read of some Canadian companies who are considering the move to avoid the tariffs and take advantage of president Trump’s 15% tax rate for companies who make their products in the US.
    Again, great products, thank you.

  • I always enjoy reading your emails. I’m so saddened by the actions and attitudes of my country’s current leaders. While I don’t have a recommendation, I will continue my subscription of your products. I will continue to “vote” with my dollars and support organizations committed to making this world a better place for ALL.

  • 25% is a lot for any business to absorb. I would suggest passing these extra costs on to the consumer but making it clear on sales invoices what the increased costs are for. A separate line item for tariff costs and if you decide to absorb any of this, a line to show your offset. Rather than chalking increases up to inflation, people will see the direct cause and hopefully do what they can in their communities effect change. I think that since the pandemic, consumers have been exhausted by prices that increased but never did come down. By breaking out the costs, people will also be encouraged by the fact that as soon as tariffs are gone, they can continue to enjoy your products at their original prices.

  • I have been thinking about you and other small businesses, and really hope you can weather this. In the meantime, as a Canadian living in Canada, can we please pay in Canadian dollars? In US dollars, we lose on the exchange and so do you.

    Thanks.

  • Previous thoughts cannot be improved upon. I applaud what your company is doing and I will purchase as much as I possibly can from you for several reasons: you are doing your utmost best to not pollute (no plastics, safer products, etc); your products are good products and finally, because of the mean spirited horrific things this U.S. leader ( whom I did not vote for ) I buy as much as I can from Canada. I have family and friends in Canada and wish I could move there myself. I stand with Canada. My car’s bumper sticker is the Canadian flag… something that has received both positive and negative comments in the very red state of Texas. Keep on keeping on. This too shall pass.

  • This too will end! I will still keep buying your products, and hope that most Americans who voted for him come to their senses and won’t vote for anyone like him again.

  • Pennsylvania wilds resident here. It has only been a few months since I discovered etee, and I am in love. The laundry soap, bamboo toothbrushes, and my favorite the face cream. Oh and dishwasher detergent, the wax wraps…who knows what else I haven’t fallen in love with yet! I love the newsletters, and that y’all give a f&@k!
It’s hard to stay optimistic when the bigots, racists, unqualified and ignorant dishonest people are in charge. It’s scary in fact. Canada and US have always been friendly neighbors, but stupid is as stupid does. This too shall pass. I try to live in a bit of a dream world where these idiots will not be in power long as the level headed and intelligent people outnumber the morons, and we will prevail!
As for me and my house we will serve the environment and support all that do the same. I love etee, and as long as I am able I will continue to buy your awesome products. Sending so much love to all.

  • Hi! I don’t really have any advice but I’d like to say I appreciate your thoughtfulness as well as your willingness to continue to work with us in the US. Most of us, in the US, do not agree with the orange man and did NOT vote for him. I hope I’ll still be able to purchase your awesome products, despite tariffs. Thank you for your honesty and willingness to move forward. Your friend in the US.
