Alcohol ethoxylate (plant-derived grease-cutting agent), polyglucoside (plant-derived cleaning agent), amine oxide (plant-derived cleaning agent), hydroxycellulose (plant-derived viscosity modifier), etee proprietary blend of essential oils

  1. Fill a dispenser or jar with 375 ml (12.7 oz) of water.
  2. Rip open your pod of concentrated dish soap over the jar and squeeze the soap into the water.
  3. Stir the mixture, cover with the lid or cap and give the dispenser a good shake. Let it sit for an hour before first use.
  4. Dispose of the pod in the component or garbage (rest assured that it will biodegrade in either). NOTE: some municipal composting programs won't accept natural waxes, so ensure yours does before adding.
  5. Squirt some soap into your sink or onto your scrubby and clean those dishes like a pro.
  6. Rinse any soap from your dishes using hot water and for the best results, dry them with a clean cloth after you are done.

Each soap pod makes 400 ml / 13.5 oz of dish soap.

Yes! It has an average amount of suds and foam - not too little, not too much.

Simply rinse out the pod, break it up and put in either a backyard compost or dirt. 1 pod can also be placed in a countertop composter such as the LOMI, and because it is made of natural waxes, oils and resins, it could really be disposed of anywhere without leaving a harmful trace. It will typically take 3 - 6 months to decompose in a natural compost pile with a good microbe mix.

These plastic-free pods are handmade in our Toronto area shop, so you can trust that not only are our employees fairly treated, they're also free to goof it up from time to time. We kept it local with getting someone in the Toronto area to formulate our dish soap concentrate, too!

How To Use Our Dish Soap Concentrate

  1. Rip the pod open at one of the ends
  2. Squeeze the pod from the opposite end and aim the soap into the jar
  3. Shake and let rest for 20 minutes
  4. Rinse pod and compost or re-use the wax for other projects such as candles!

Only 9% of plastic is recycled.

Apart from the 9% that gets recycled, another 12% gets incinerated, while "the vast majority—79 percent—is accumulating in landfills or sloughing off in the natural environment as litter. Meaning: at some point, much of it ends up in the oceans, the final sink." -National Geographic

Choose Organic Packaging.

Our packaging is as natural as the ingredients inside. It can be repurposed, reused and fully composted right in your back yard. Good for you, good for our planet.

We Make Concentrated Dish Soap.

Most dish soaps are up to 90% water.

Why are we trucking all that water around the world, burning extra carbon and making extra packaging for something we all have at home?

Makes no sense, right? That's why we eliminated all the water and left only four plant based ingredients.

Etee dish soap is the best

We have this really, really old plastic liquid dish soap container, and the label fell off ages ago. We use it to mix our Etee concentrated dish soap, which lasts for many days. It works out so much cheaper than the stuff that comes in plastic bottles. I like the scent, and I am glad I am not paying for a plastic bottle and the transport of water!

Pretty darn good...

I acknowledge that it may not be quite as good as what I'm used to, but for the most part it does a great job. I've changed the way I wash dishes now- I put soap directly onto my wet scrubby and scrub away, and then I rinse. I no longer fill my sink up with water. Using the soap at a more concentrated level with the scrubby seems to work best for me. When I want to wash down my counters I will put just a little water in my sink with a couple of squirts of soap. I absolutely love how pure this product is. I might add it's less harsh on my hands than my regular detergent. I'm a happy customer, and it's Canadian made! It doesn't get much better than that... we'll perhaps a slightly lower price point but I'm willing to pay the extra for a more natural product. Thank you etee

Travelling

I haven’t used it yet but I am taking a box of 3 hand soaps and 3 dish soaps to our condo in Hawaii to stock up there. Still want to buy Canadian even though we are going to America. Perfect size to pop in the suitcase.
