Scrub away stuck on food and... microplastics (Jeremy)

Our loofie is an exceptional scrubber loved for its longevity, durability, and lack of unpleasant odors unlike traditional sponges. Our plastic-free loofie scrubbers are a combination of the gentle scrubbing power of the fibrous loofah plant and the spongy cellulose-cotton dishcloth. They're even sewn together using cotton thread (rather than the all-too-commonly used polyester thread), making them reusable and biodegradable with absolutely no plastic.

Loofie Scrubber Details:

Loofies are a layer of loofah plant, paired with a layer of cellulose cloth, which are 100% natural and made of wood & cotton cellulose.

Use your new etee Loofie Scrubber in the same way you'd use your old green & blue plastic sponge (but without the plastic!). The loofah side is an amazing scrubber - but it won't scratch your dishes! The cellulose side is good for wiping up messy dishes and cleaning more delicate dishes. Loofies can do more than clean dishes - try using one to help scrub the sink & tub, just like your old plastic sponge would!

To keep your Loofie clean you can chuck a damp one into the microwave for 10 seconds, or lay it onto the top rack of your dishwasher for a cycle. Washing machines or clothes dryers are not recommended.

Change your Loofie every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage.

When you're done with it, since it's fully biodegradable, you can chuck it in the garbage, compost or bury it the garden. Loofie will decompose within a month.

Loofa Sponges

I am impressed with both their scrubbing power on one side and sponge absorption on the other. They last quite a long time, too. Maybe because I’m “transitioning” from what the family is accustomed to using to these earth friendly ones, before the old kind “disappear”!

So far so good

They work well so far. For reasons I can't explain, they smell like Cancun!

Thanks John! We oughta put that in the product description :P

Loofie Scrubbers

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. When I received the package and saw the scrubbers I didn’t think much of them. It was after using them that I was very happy with my purchase and will refer to all the people I know. I’m a convert!

Luv’in my loofa

More effective cleaning fry pans as compared with petrochemical sponges AND I can compost them when they’re done.

Shipping costs

Won’t order again because the shipping cost was way too much for what I received!

Good but pricey

Seem very good, however I cannot afford to buy them regularly

Doing our part for the environment takes effort

In this case the effort is spending a couple more dollars for your sponges. These sponges do everything the plastic ones do without sending microplastics into the rivers.
