So like I said, assuming the regulations get up to date, do you think we should - follow zee Chermans.. (read in dorky german accent) - and partner with a balcony solar panel supplier to start bringing accessible renewable energy to our etee customers?
It seems in-line with our mission of empowering simple daily actions to better support our planet.
And, if properly executed it would help people SAVE money on the every increasing cost of electricity.
A little while ago I was approached by a sustainable battery company to partner up, but they weren't rechargeable and I thought that doesn't really sound sustainable. Then I thought about trying to make solar powered appliances like our e-bamboo toothbrush, but when I came across this concept it just made so much more sense, but of course, I'd love your thoughts, so...

Ive always wanted solar panels but the cost has always been a barrier. If the price was reasonable and the benefits outweighs the cost then I’d absolutely back this up.
Yes I would. I like the idea of the control it gives you.

Yes, I would purchase 1 or more system(s).
Yes!
This sounds amazing. Hope the kinks get worked out and regulations sorted ASAP.
I would absolutely purchase one or more of these solar panels. This sounds like a great idea!
I’ve been researching balcony solar for little more than a year. Raymond Ward is correct, the only thing stopping it is the red tape… and provincial/state utilities. I know here in BC, BC Hydro has been resistent to anyone offsetting their energy bill, because it affects BC Hydro’s bottom line. But recent forecasts of how much energy will be needed in the next 10 years now has them scrambling to enable residents to be more power independent. Now might be a good time to get that ball rolling. All this to say, yes, I definitely want a solar panel for my balcony.
I personally would absolutely be interested in purchasing a balcony solar panel and definitely know quite a few people who would also be very interested!
Sounds like a great idea and I would be interested if it would work for me, but, sadly, I don’t think it will. I looked into getting solar panels on my roof, but they said too many trees. The trees have grown much taller since then and pretty much shade everything. I’m thinking now about wind. I invested in a company called Flower Turbines. They come in many sizes and are bird friendly. I’m hoping to buy one soon.
That would be great for a lot of people if it really isn’t a big deal to install. We would consider that for our home!
