So like I said, we're really excited about this 100% plastic free laundry detergent packaging. And if it works for our LD, we'll probably transition it to all our powders.
But it sweats like a marathon runner in 30 degree sun, meaning the bag will have some minor grease marks.
So my question to you, is if you were walking through the grocery store aisle and saw this, would it put you off / think there's something wrong with it?
FYI, tin and aluminum is a no go for us.

Sorry to say that but yes, I would be suspicious if the bag looks dirty. Be careful, the packaging is a very important point in a decision to buy or not for any consumer .
At first glance, yes. I would probably wonder if it had been on the shelf a long time and had gone off. I’d wonder if that had any impact on performance or odour. That said, I’m a slow shopper, I read labels. If there was an eye-catching medallion saying “100% plastic free packaging” in the front I’d pick it up and look at it. If there was a blurb on the back or side titled “a note about our 100% plastic free packaging” I’d read it. While it might make the average shopper walk on by, I think your customers are thoughtful and will take the time.
Since I know how wonderful it is in all categories: gets clothes clean , good price point, environmentally friendly and doesn’t take up a lot of room – yes I would buy it off the shelf but like others mentioned- put a big sign saying sweating is normal . Thanks for being so conscientious and educating us. I feel great using all your products!
I don’t mind the sweating when I buy it online. I think honestly that grocery store customers would be put off, unfortunately.
If you hadn’t explained it, I likely would have been put off. Somehow the store-shelf customer needs to see the info.
Like others have said just add a note on the bag that sweating is normal.
I agree with the others, add “sweating is normal” to package. I’d buy it.
I LOVE this laundry detergent. No sweating here.I leave the bag opened on top of the washer with a small scoop in the bag and yes, I only use as directed. Perfect…..I am happy with all my etee purchases. Thanks Steve and etee. Kit

Appreciate and agree with all responses above me. My question is…if it is sweating, does this also mean it is absorbing all chemical and fragrance odours of the non environmentally friendly products in those grocery store aisles? I am unable to go down those ailes for. This is my reason for appreciating and enjoying your products. I assume sweating(losing moisture) would also mean losing strength(aging/expiring faster) with the slight odour of the product escaping as well. I would prefer to continue to breath fresh air only, as much as possible, in my environmentally friendly home. Thank you for asking.
