My husband and I use Chandrika Aruyvedic bar soap for face and in the shower. They cost about $1 per bar and they are wrapped in some type of paper (I think it is a bit waxy?). It has a great smell and no residue.
As a senior, I use a mild facial cleanser. I would LOVE being able to buy a cleanser that does not come in a plastic container. Same with a toner and moisturizers, both daytime with SPF of at least 30 and a nighttime one. Thanks.
I use Mad Hippie cream cleanser. It comes in a glass pump bottle—I searched for non-plastic packaging. I love it but it’s expensive. What I’d really like is a good natural easy to apply sunscreen. The ones I’ve recently found in non-plastic packaging are either really hard to apply or don’t work very well.
Alba sensitive skin wash in a plastic pump.
I use a “brightening facial scrub” from Acure about every other day. It makes my skin feel soft rather than stripped of its beneficial oils. It comes in a plastic squeeze bottle, which I’d love to be able to refill rather than buy new every time.
We’ve been trying to use face bars, but they fade away in the shower and are expensive. Also our faces are sensitive, so we do have a bottled facewash that we are using. I’m just now trying one that’s in an aluminum bottle. I’d love a gel cleanser that works with my skin that is more sustainable.
I use Dove soap.. paper, no olastcs
I use black soap from Africa
I use Rodan+Fields. I’d love to have as good a product in glass for another container to allow for recycling.
I use a foam cleaner in a plastic bottle. I’d love something that isn’t a bar soap not packaged in plastic!
