Should we sell Balcony Solar Panels???

Posted by IT Admin on

So like I said, assuming the regulations get up to date, do you think we should - follow zee Chermans.. (read in dorky german accent) - and partner with a balcony solar panel supplier to start bringing accessible renewable energy to our etee customers?

It seems in-line with our mission of empowering simple daily actions to better support our planet.

And, if properly executed it would help people SAVE money on the every increasing cost of electricity.

A little while ago I was approached by a sustainable battery company to partner up, but they weren't rechargeable and I thought that doesn't really sound sustainable.  Then I thought about trying to make solar powered appliances like our e-bamboo toothbrush, but when I came across this concept it just made so much more sense, but of course, I'd love your thoughts, so...

  • Why not? Seems like a win-win for our planet and pocketbooks. I’m in!

  • I would love the idea of sustainable and cost effective solar panels. We are an older couple on a limited budget and drive an electric vehicle. We’d
Love to save money and move towards solar energy – if even a portion of our current usage

  • Would love to but can’t. We are only allowed patio furniture in our balconies. Also in BC, hydro is expanding and doing massive updates on our hydro plants. Hydro in BC I believe is much cheaper than in the east. We do have several incentives here to save on electricity. So it’s a no for us, right now anyway.

  • I like the idea of increasing use of solar panels. I have long wanted to have an easy solution for home use but the bureaucracy involved has been a major deterrent. Anything you can do to remove some of these barriers would be helpful! Best of luck!

  • I love this idea! I live in Oklahoma where we have a lot of hailstorms, so for the most part I don’t think solar is a viable option for us because I don’t know how well the panels would hold up to hail. However, if they were accessible where we could protect them in a storm, that would be magnificent!

  • I am totally for solar power. I drive an electric car and try to be forward thinking. I believe that everyone has the power to change things for the better even if it is in very small ways. Keep up the great work!!

  • Yes I would be interested. I’m from the Netherlands living in Ontario. Always wanted to have solar power but haven’t been able to. No red tape and easy installation will be great.

  • The time is now! We purchased a portable generator from Jackery after our power was out for a few days. It came with 2 solar panels. They work great and are easy to use. We get full day sun on our deck so have no problem charging. More people need to get on board with ideas such as these.
