Should we sell Balcony Solar Panels???

Posted by IT Admin on

So like I said, assuming the regulations get up to date, do you think we should - follow zee Chermans.. (read in dorky german accent) - and partner with a balcony solar panel supplier to start bringing accessible renewable energy to our etee customers?

It seems in-line with our mission of empowering simple daily actions to better support our planet.

And, if properly executed it would help people SAVE money on the every increasing cost of electricity.

A little while ago I was approached by a sustainable battery company to partner up, but they weren't rechargeable and I thought that doesn't really sound sustainable.  Then I thought about trying to make solar powered appliances like our e-bamboo toothbrush, but when I came across this concept it just made so much more sense, but of course, I'd love your thoughts, so...

  • I would absolutely be one of your clients.
Knowing Etee, you would look into the ethical side of this. Hope this happens soon!

Not sure how feasible or bang for your buck you would get here. I have always wondered however why we could not produce energy for our cars with the wind it creates…

  • I am potentially incredibly interested, though I wonder / worry over the sourcing of the raw materials needed for solar panels. Mining is often brutally cruel and environmentally devastating, the impacts just tend to be more hidden from view of the “first world”. Could there be an ethical way to source these materials? That’s my big question for solar! I LOVE the idea of affordable solar though!!

  • Great idea!

  • I love this idea. I would definitely consider this. I would need the landlords permission to put it on the roof of the shed (only sunny place in our yard), but I think they’d be open to the idea.

  • I support it absolutely and will pass the idea on to others. Not sure if we can install as our yard is mighty shady. We have solar in our summer cottage and love it.

  • I like the idea, but I will not be a customer as I already have rooftop solar.
